The spa

Ice baths, saunas, and steam rooms are all popular forms of heat and cold therapy used for relaxation and health benefits and have their own unique benefits. They are often used as part of a wellness routine to promote relaxation, relieve stress, and support overall health and well-being.

Also known as cold water immersion or cryotherapy, ice baths involve immersing the body in ice-cold water for a short period. This can help reduce inflammation, soothe sore muscles, and speed up recovery after intense exercise. The cold temperature constricts blood vessels, which may decrease swelling and flush out waste products from the muscles.

Saunas are rooms or small buildings designed for heat sessions, typically using dry heat or infrared heat. They are often made of wood and heated by a stove or infrared heaters. Saunas can help improve circulation, promote relaxation, and detoxify the body by inducing sweating. The heat also relaxes muscles and may provide relief for joint pain and stiffness.

Similar to saunas, steam rooms are enclosed spaces where steam is produced by a generator. The high humidity and warm air in steam rooms can help open up the pores, cleanse the skin, and promote sweating, which may help detoxify the body.
